HollyG Here!

Post by HollyG » Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:06 pm

Hello :)

I have never been to Burning Man! I am hoping to experience it soon.

I am a medical marijuana patient and activist in Colorado and love it in the mountains! I am also a full time event coordinator :)

Peace and Love to ALL!! :D

Hi Holly,

Welcome to eplaya!

Lots of people here in Los Angeles are medical marijuana patients too.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

At some point I'm likely to pick your brain about the costs of event coordination. There's a dreary little recurring argument about whether or not the BM ticket price is too high, and I might ask you to put some perspective in it next time it crops up.

And hi to you Holly, welcome to eplaya. You'll have fun here, just be careful though, there are a few nefarious character's running around in here, cuckoo for cocoa puffs if ya know what I mean

A perfectly good one! I suppose you'd prefer another nosepicker who can't handle a couple of beers without flipping out, but I'd rather hang with HollyG, thanks.

Holly I am sorry that I need to inform you that this year the rules and laws have changed for both medical marijuana and recreational marijuana at Burning Man. Marijuana is no longer allowed at Burning Man. Please find me as soon as you arrive and I will help you dispose of all your marijuana.

Time to stop thinking and buy a damn ticket already. You're either in or you're out!

You should attend if there is any way you can. I think that you will have the time of your life. Be sure to bring along your meds and stop by Camp Wannaburn and introduce yourself. :P

I'm not sure, but I think what JK is trying to say is "shit or get off the pot"!

With about 5 months to go, NOW is the time to buy your ticket. You simply can't appreciate life until you attend this event for the first time. Not to repeat what has been said ad nauseum, but explaining Burning Man to someone is like trying to describe colors to a blind person. You must see it for yourself.

Ostrich is delicious! Come to the playa Holly and we can ride ostriches into the dusty sunset... and then eat them! :D
