Here is a link to see if you can view the ISS and Space Shuttle. At this time they are together and reflect a lot of light.

The hammer in that tool bag cost 1 million dollars. There is a $500,000.00 defective grease gun in that tool kit also. And lets not have any jokes about drinking urine, although the machine that converts urine to beer is not working completly yet.

Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Tonight the ISS with Shuttle attached was a 3 minute view. I was able to determine that the object was not round through my binoculars. Ogden Utah will get 4 minutes tomorrow night. Seems to be more visable from nothern cities. Kinda low on the Horizon at this time. If you go to look it does not appear at the horizon but above the horizon when it comes into the suns rays. Then it will disappear prior to htting the horizon again, kinda cool. Anybody taken a look?

Pretty cool, huh. Just think if you are lucky someone on the ISS is looking back at ja... wave!!Thecatman wrote:We saw it last night Dec.5th for the one minute show over Carson City at aprx 18:43 (6:43pm). I'm gonna keep that NASA web site handy for future use.
(thank you!)
humm, this makes me wonder if during our annual camping trip we could time some event, so that those people in space maybe could see it. I know the man burning would be visible from a couple hundred miles up. Crude Awakening also.

I will research and find out if the ISS (and any planned vistors) will be visable from BRC next year. I think they can figure that far ahead as to the path of the station. Stay tunedThecatman wrote:That would be cool if next year it flew over northern Nevada at the time of the burn. Next time I'll be watching it threw my Parks 11x80 binoculars. And I might wait til late spring to view it. No snow on the ground here but it was f%$#@*g cold.
