Sure, but you can also visit the Human Carcass Wash and get fondled at the same time

Mix 1oz in to 1 gallon of water and use a hand towel to rub on, another towel to dry off. No rinse required and it even works on your hair.

You like that stuff?
Better than nothing, but only.

If you sweat enough and keep drinking water, you eventually get clean by toweling off.
Discovered this when the ac broke one summer.
I don't know how it applies to the playa with its low humidity.
You still need to wash your hair though.

Tader joes has peppermint castille soap at about a 3rd the cost of Dr. Bronners... very similar. Nothing righteous or far out on the bottle to read though.

Hey, it still says "cleanliness is next to godliness." And I don't think the excess verbiage is worth the extra money.

i'm thinking of putting a bathtub in my bus as a test based off all the ideas the jacuzzi bus has given me.

...It doesn't. The only sweat you're going to actually SEE on your body is whatever gets sopped-up by your hat. In fact, that's the thing that kicks a lot of peoples' asses on the Playa: Since you don't see or feel yourself sweating, you figure you're properly-hydrated. I'm willing to bet that at least half of the end-of-week lethargy that some people get is simply due to not getting as much water as you need.

Regarding showers: Fuck baby wipes...Those are for babies! I swear by the Fresh Bath Bio Wipes. Two bio wipes per day (one for the face, arms and trunk, and the other for pits and junk...'scuse me..."perineum", I mean...And you're fresh as a daisy.

I like the Dr. B's in Almond too. I stings less when you get it in your eyes. I did the lawnchair over the bucket wash and then let the bucket sit out. I think I took one gallon of ucky water back with me so it evaporated pretty well. I did try baby wipes but that really didn't work. They stung, especially the ones made for your face, and they just rolled and crumbled when you tried to wipe. I think they were Mal-mart generic though.

The baby wipes with aloe work best and they don't sting at all.
