FUCK this freezing rain! I wiped out on my bicycle three (or was it four?) times on my way in to work, so now I am (fucking) sore! Then we had to, first thing, go outside to put down salt. I had to do one area twice, because the students were still slipping on it. (Which makes me worried about the other areas I did-- maybe I needed to really, really put down the salt-- the area lakes be damned!) Oh, and I didn't get to the fucking outside trash barrels, which are overflowing... I wonder which is more important, cleaning the offices, or the outside trash barrels...? I will probably have to choose one or the other....
Of course, it might be neither, if we have to go back out and put down more (fucking) salt.

We got a 24 lb fucking turkey on sale just before thanksgiving for about $9.00 at Ralph's. I am ok. Weepy and I can't talk about my brother, but eerily calm. I don't think it has sunk in all the way yet.
Larry says he is at a dead stop on I-80. No one off the road yet, some of the trucks chained up, but long stretches of the interstate are closed. So much for the Costco delivery on time. he has food, fuel, warm clothes and water, so he should be just fine.
Oh, and fuck.

FUCK!!! Tomorrow I have my fucking finals. The "King Lear" paper is done and ready to be turned in, poems are revised, but my fucking Frederick Douglass paper is kicking my fucking ass!!!! I am totally fucking freaking out as I am not at all tired and must get up at 5:45 in the am to make my 8 am class.
