All in My Mind

Post by Lambic » Thu Dec 11, 2008 1:44 pm

It starts at Hot Chocolate.

I love hot Chocolate, I make sure to have enough power for the next day, especially after a long walk in the freezing rain. I think about hot I make the best damn hot coco in the whole world, it so good, no, you seriously have to try this freakin' coco.

I think about how Id love to share this at Burning Man. I go deeply is to picture all the small details that will go on when I present my magic thermos of chocolate brew. I do this all day, with everything I do.

Ive done this before. For months before my first burn all I did was take my normal day, and within my mind, i create "Keil's Burning Man". It doesnt really have a great title, but I never say it out loud.

There were so many fantastic moments within my mind. A friend said that they could be sights of the future, but not a single idea came to a physical existence. Thats fine! My mind was so vividly at work, it made no difference weather it took place or not, it was all the same in my memory. Really, after something passes from the now, its all the same brain process anyway.

So here I am, now realizing that Burning Man, whatever it can be, is a playground in my imagination.

I'm in love with Burning Man, nothing has done this to me before, taken hold in all the places I needed a hug.

Who are you with, where have you been

Imagination turns thoughts, reason can't change

Staring at the walls, think I know what I see

Anger and coffee, feeling mean

Drinking black coffee, black coffee, drinking black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, black coffee, black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, drinking black coffee, drinking black coffee, staring at the...

Stab through my heart, stab through my heart, stab through my heart

But its all in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Just in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Its just in my mind, yeaaaaaaaaa

My heart is pounding, as stare at the wall

Its my turn to be jealous, now I don't stand for it all

In fact I'm pretty stupid, I'm feeling small

Anger and coffee, feeling mean

Drinking black coffee, black coffee, black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, black coffee, black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, drinking black coffee, drinking black coffee, staring at the...

Stab through my heart, stab through my heart, stab through my heart

But its all in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Just in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Its just in my mind

Yeaaaaaaaa

Drinking black coffee, drinking black coffee, drinking black coffee, staring at the wall

Its just in my mind, yea

If the night goes on, paranoia adultery

Why should I be so stupid, when I can't really see

The other side of the wall, is eating away at me

Anger and Coffee, feeling mean

Drinking black coffee, black coffee, black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, black coffee, black coffee, staring at the wall

Black coffee, drinking black coffee, drinking black coffee, staring at the...

Stab through my heart, stab through my heart, stab through my heart

But its all in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Its just in my mind, mind, mind, mind

Its just in my mind

Have you tried Abuelita chocolate?
Too good to go back to regular chocolate again.

Now that its that season, you know, eggnog season, I can start to set my sights on a great variety of drinks, both warm and cold.

Next is the family Glogg!

Mmm... hot wine and booze.

My Dad used to make that :D He'd have a big old pot simmering on the stove and would fill the thermos to take to the high school football games.
Come to think of it he used to take it when we went duck hunting also. I always froze my ass off but Dad had his glogg. And to think he wouldnt go deer hunting "too many drunks out there"

I learned the art of Glogg from my father as well. He's a typical Norwegian.

Of course you could always just got Ikea and get yourself a Glogg starters kit, but whats the fun in that? I want something that explodes out of taste as well as my cooking abilities.

Exploding is pretty fun man. I remember all the times that I've exploded over the years, the funniest things about them is that I never see it coming. You'd think that after the 2nd time I start to catch on... but no.. BOOM! Pieces everywhere...

I knew the luge could only be explained by some kind of alcohol!

And what kind of troll piss can explain the two-man luge?

How drunk did the first people to do that have to be?

a lack of alcohol! The booze keeps you warm for the singles, body heat from another is the only way to keep warm without peeing in your snowsuit...

Though, Ive met many snowboarders who do it anyway... I guess they do wear diving suits... but thats the wrong type of marinade ... eww

Sometimes I think that everything is like everything else. I was thinking that eplaya is really like Burning Man. I guess its the now, the infinite resorces. I think that Burning Man may be what the internet is, just with physical contact. Maybe that is why so many people are addicted to the internet, lives revolving around it.

Which give me reason to say that the Burning Man in my mind is no different then the physical one, seeing how it's all the same thing the moment after it happens.

I don't have a pool anymore, but when I did, there was this chemical you could buy and put in the water, so that when someone peed in the pool, it reacted with the chemical and turned it purple!

There was an episode of the Adventures of Pete and Pete where they had that stuff, I think they called it "Wee-Wee-See". They called the unknown pee-er the "Pee-anator" or "Wizanator" or something of the sort. Really good episode about Adult Swimming in pools.
