Winter Solstice Event Planned...â€

Hey Guys,


I am planning on hosting my second Winter Solstice Ceremony and Burn, this December 19th and December 21st the weekend before Christmas. Since shopping will be off, or at least it will be lot more brief this holiday season for most, many people will be looking for more positive, and less expensive things to do, closer to home.

I would love to have you, and anyone you want to invite here at the ranch, that weekend. It will be a whole weekend thing Fri-Sun or as much as you can take. If it gets to be more than 50 people there will be a $10 Porto Pottie fee (requested not required) there will be open bars and center camp and live music. So bring your camp gear, your RV, Your Art Car, yourself..... This will be no cost event.

Event Update: Food Service....

Keeping you up to date on what's happening for the event..



We added food service to the event with a food vending cart...

it's licensed, and has a current Heath Permit. With the addition of a huge propane flat griddle with a half char-broiler grilling side, and a deep fry.

Wow! That looks like a blast. Would love to attend but Detroit's a wee bit away. I hope you have a great weekend. I'd def. enjoy some time in a sweat lodge, especially during our long cold dreary winter.

For those that are in our neck of the woods, there will be a gathering at the Detroit Dream Project Temple on the 21st at 4:30. Not quite on the scale of what the Rabbi's got going on, but a little celebration/gathering none the less.

Final Report

Here is the Final Report from the event. Our friends from the Water Woman Group showed up in full force, although Ray was missed. Burners are a hard lot. Well almost no one came from the BBS, but maybe next event, I'll keep you posted...
