Things are a heck of a lot easier that way.

Although pretty much the entire state is poed because with the birthday so close to xmas, they get too many twofer presents.

It's warmed up.

3 degrees now, pogonip/fog rolled in.

Pogonip is so cool. (pun, hahaha)
I've always loved seeing it, especially when the sun is rising......ethereal, for sure..........

well, GH, sit on down and have some strong coffee.........and whiskey, for you and your horse......

ok first winter with the chickens....apparently they dont like snow so much!
I had 2 of the 5 out in the yard the first day it snowed...holding one foot up, then the other...wouldnt move from where it was standing...

also ...no eggs.
Guess they have to get acclimated!
