Honeymoon Theme Camp
Hey,
I am looking for ideas about a honeymoon theme camp. My fiance and I are getting married in June, and we decided to spend our honeymoon out at BRC. Please give me ideas of what you would do in this situation.
Thanks!

Hmmm....am I missing something or are you REALLY asking for ideas as to what to do on your honeymoon!!?? LOL
First, have either of you been to BM before? This seems to me to have the potential to be the best honeymoon ever, or a horrific early marriage ender.
Anyway, best of luck and welcome to eplaya.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Honeymoon Theme Camp
My fiance and I both have been to BM before, and that's why we wanted to have our honeymoon out there. Also, I know what to do on a honeymoon, but I was thinking about cool stuff for a theme camp. One of the ideas we had was to have daily champagne toasts, another was to have a playa ceremony where we pulled people off the streets to be part of it. Any other similar ideas?

do what we did in 97'
1. paint the words "Just Married" on your asses. (you can decide who is Just and who is Married on site)
2. Keep Drinking, and tie all your bottles and cans to your legs for the entire week.
3.drag them behind you at all times.
4.keep them on when you go thru the reno airport on your way home.
repeat, lather, rinse.

Some people just forget to date above the Mendoza diagonal.
As everyone knows, the precept is that someone can be as crazy as they want to be, but they must be at least as hot as they are crazy.
The line on the graph where these meet is, of course, the Mendoza diagonal.
Spending time with someone at the extreme high end of the diagonal may actually be more interesting than is preferable.
But you will never forget it.

In this case, what's bad or good is a very personal thing.
Crazy in this case refers more to the unpleasant level of volatility that results in frozen food being thrown at one's head and comments about how "you knew what I meant to say." and maybe being poked with a fork.
Plus or minus might be a more precise way of defining it than hot/crazy, or good or bad.
Whether the positives are math skills or pink hair, the ratio still matters.
It's easy to see where romeo and juliet placed on the graph.
Their issues clearly stem from placing on the negative side of the diagonal.
I bet you know many examples.

Um, do you mean you'd be pulling peeps off the street to, umm, take part in the action?cschneider wrote:My fiance and I both have been to BM before, and that's why we wanted to have our honeymoon out there. haha...
Thursday is everyones anniversary!
Ours, and 4 other couples we know that were Legally married at BRC.
The fun thing about it...is we NEVER have to remember WHEN the actual date of our Nuptuals was...still dont know? hahahaaa
Just Thursday before the man burns!
Good enough for me.

Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
LOL, PineMom - I have the same situation! We were married in 07 on Wednesday. Last year, my mom asked me what was the date of our anniversary, and I was like, "ummmm - it's just Wednesday!" I still don't know what the actual date is!
My husband & I got married in 07 on the 8th hole of our camp Putt-Putt Playa. Being on the Esplanade, it was pretty much open to anyone who wandered by. So LAST year we were hanging out at camp, and this this man, who I did not know, walked up to us ON WEDNESDAY and said, "Happy Anniversary!" I can't believe he remembered us, a year later. That was awesome.
