I burned an effigy of dick clark. We used whistling moon traveler rockets for his hair painted black that shot out of his skull real nice, 10 large roman candles taped together blowing his entire ass right off, homemade magnesium concotion for his eyes and mouth. The paper mache wound up burning a lil too fast since it was soaked in gas and some of the stuff went wild but all in all a good fire overall.

Next time I'm going to make a framework of sorts for the fireworks so they go where originally intended regardless of the effigy burn. I should probably do a wood one with the paper on top but was kinda lazy this year.

Yes...twilightzone...of which we did watch 10 hours of in bed yesturday!

Yeah, that thing about Ryan Seacrest.
who the F*** picked that wannabe for hosting such an important number?

...that would be like Marky Mark...pre-Walburn
Why dont we use Mr. Elmer Fud...now thats a man I'd love to ring in the New year with!

...even better....the entire cast of Monty Pythone trilogies!

Ohhh, Monty Python :D Kids today don't get enough of Monty in their life. I asked my older boy about the Three Stooges and he gave me a WTF look, which he rarely does  So I grabbed a DVD of some of their shows for him. Sadly he didn't last long before wandering off. He should have been grateful it wasn't a Little Rascals DVD

Who here remembers Benny Hill?

I recommend their early political work.
Some are off color and very hard to find.
I like SCTV even though it's canadian.
I have every episode.

OMG, we were raised on Benny Hill. The whole family used to watch. The little old guy with the bald head looked like my grandfather Herbert, so we always called him Grandpa Herbie.

I love the pool hall skit:
