I think I might come to this in 2010, at home we're hosting the winter Olympics, and I want to get the fuck outta town, New Zealand hasn't been graced with my presence in a few years, so I'm thinking this would make a good trip..

what are some good ways an outta towner can participate? what things does kiwi burn always need more of ?

hey stickygreen.....the mind boggles at your name

2010 is also going to be the best year yet for kiwiburn so we can wait for you to come and grace our shores

the best way to participate is volunteer.....go to our website and check it out

we also have an ART GRANT program (check the website for this also), so if you wanted to build some art we can possibly provide materials for your arrival on the paddock....we also have a construction/craft area set up with tools and fixings and paint and stuff for those that can't bring it with them
so get your thinking cap on and let us know your needs

one thing kiwiburn always needs more of is people.....

this year we had around 185 peeps and it was an amazingly intimate experiance
BUT! the more the merrier.... bring some friends...set up or join a theme camp...do the art thing and you will have contributed greatly to yours and every ones experience at kiwiburn

ps: we also have access to a beautiful lake so cooling off during the day or kayaking or hanging out on our pirate ship is all to easy
we also have access to a barge and permission to burn on the lake so come play you won't regret it

Assuming I am able to find a job and make my move to Wellington (tomorrow!!!) permanent I'll definitely be there! It sounds like a blast.

Kiwi - you know I'd love to be there but won't be able to make it to the other side of the planet for a couple of years.

But when I do get there I'll make sure I'm there for a few months so I can get well and truly stuck in.

For anybody that can get there - just go. Kiwis certainly know how to party.

They also burn things with a boom too.
