Singles Camp/lounge?!

There should be a singles lounge for people people to find
their playa lovers! its important maybe for people who might be
shy approaching people in different circumstances its so simple i was surprised not to see it last year

It's called 'Center Camp' (Desperation Village) and is conveniently (and quite centrally) located at 6:00 and Esplanade.

Haven't any of you knuckleheads ever heard of the Costco Soulmate Trading Outlet? Not as hot as Barbie Death Camp, but damn close.

Why does anybody eschew singles meeting each other on playa when we all know that a great many singles come to BM?

Hmmm..

I am A BM virgin.. so my opinion may have no value but here it is anyways :lol:
I am by nature shy, and me going to BM is a huge, but much needed step. Tacking on having to over-socialize to find lovers might be a monumental task in my case. I think this tent would be ideal for the shy crowd. (yes, we are out there..you just dont notice us :roll: )

It's very easy to meet all kinds of people.

I'm seeing a lot more "request for camps" lately. You don't "request" a theme for a camp. If you think something needs to be in BRC, bring it, build it, or will it, stop asking and just participate!

They've tried "speed dating" and other camps like that, but it's always been kind of disorganized. I think you have a real good idea for a camp! BM is actually a pretty hard place to meet people on any level because most folks allow themselves to become part of a group and they remain that way for the entire week....

I agree, who wants to know your relationship status on the playa? Burning man is about paticipating in new experiences, if you can't get out, go with the flow, and socialize on the playa, then why are you there? Personally, I think you'll find much more interesting singles, outside of a singles group.

Now on another note, if someone wants to make a "Fuck it, let's just fuck" camp then they might have a good idea goin for themselves! :D
