DALLASITE for themed camp!

heya my name is liz

went to the 2008 the american dream,my first burn! and it was FREAKN AWESOME!!!!!!! luckily my girlfriend and i met a few people out there who took us into there theme camp but this year i would like to ride out with one... any tips on finding one other than google search?

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When you say 'ride out' with one, what exactly do you mean? Usually people don't 'ride out' with theme camps, they join them and participate in the planning and setting up, etc. It's not like buying a ticket or renting a room.

If you meant the latter, you can probably check for regional events and groups, get to know the people, then find out how you can help out.

Start with the regionals forum on this board. If you go to the "main site" http://burningman.com/ and look for the regionals link you should find the Texas contact(s). Since Flipside is rumored to be one of the better regional burns I suspect there are lots of potential "fellow travelers" to be found there.

yah thank you, mm i met a few people in 08 when i stayed with c.i.n camp that met them online and i thought they said they rode out to BM with them but i could've of heard them wrong, i dunno there was a lot of booze floating around, meh but i did start looking up all the regionals! and so thanks for the help!
