Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Sail Man is from your neck of the woods. I expect he'll be around shortly to give you a welcome to eplaya too. (He's probably out saving a life, well that or having a cold beer.) He can point you in the direction for regional bm stuff in your area for sure.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

No live people here, just a carefully rendered digital simulation.
Welcome anyway.

Yes but they only take puppies with a cuteness factor of 5 or less. So it's OK.

Woo Hoo!!! Here I am to save the day!

ROFLMAO!! JK was right Mercury, hanging at work now, thanks to free wifi I can pass the time on eplaya waiting for the big one :D

As I've said in other posts, we have a fairly active group here and will be co-sponsoring our first regional this June with Chicago. It will be over on the west side by South Haven. Last weekend in June.
Other stuff goes on from time to time, watch the yahoo group.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Consider meeting up with some local folks in your area, especially if they've been. Doesn't mean that you have to ride-share, but it would beat getting out there and not knowing anyone at all.

Jusk an idear.

There must be a way to process all this carnage and make it work for good and not evil. O.k., get a nordic cat herder... I've heard of one or two. Next, collect the kitten pee up until slaughter... good use for drug camouflage in vehicles (I've read it here) the fat from the carcases good for some playa related eczemas and other dermal malfeances (read it here too) select for high body fat percentage, large bladders (?)... easily frightened cats from very cold climates, we get loads of obese incontinent giant fast growing neotenic felines and, oh dear... where was I going with this?
