*Sail Man looks around, the hair on his head rising albeit shortly on end, the air around crackling with energy. WTF?! Hmmm, maybe another beer will help me understand. Anybody else?*

that sounds more like a description of your anticipation of Artemis giving you a beer............Sail Man wrote:*Sail Man looks around, the hair on his head rising albeit shortly on end, the air around crackling with energy. WTF?! Hmmm, maybe another beer will help me understand. Anybody else?*

Ya, One eyed Dick and I were out back yesturday saying that if the wind would die down just a bit, it would be nakee weather!
The Live Reef, aka a bunch of rocks with lots of corals and micro'organisms we were able to secure, will be coming out of a 6 yr old established tank. (and local!!! big plus!)
So all in all it will completely stabilize our tank about 3 weeks faster then starting from scratch.(live rock w/ no corals or little amount of life...as we know it...hehe thrown in cause it was funny...guess not...ramble ramble...)
Nope still havent taken a picture yet, the bar top is still alot cluttered with aqaurium electrical stuff...so Ill grab one maybe on Sunday afternoon, after the tank doors have been installed.

it's 4 degrees out, here in beautiful upstate new york, i cant feel my fingers because i was working outside for the past hour on a stupid fucking awning.
going to the local swill joint to get me a Pabst Schmear (shot bad whisky, pbr chaser) and eat stale peanuts.
i hate you martini steve.
this is why we easties are so bitter...you realize that....so next time some new yorker is really getting annoying and up in your shit, just step back and know that their life, compared to most californians, sucks.
it's not our fault.
personally, i blame god, and his evil minion, Cold Miser.

hey Simon,
nice to see you here............
"no, really, you don't need pants or heals to come in"
"Crack" can have many connotations, as you well know.
So, that being said:
yes, there is and has been much crack here.
and, if your holding your stem, you might just find some............
just be careful backing out, you never know who might be behind you.......Artemis and her coffee machine come to mind.........

thats kinda funny....my oldest daughter's name is Artemisia...
after the goddess of the hunt, the moon and the forest but also after Queen Artemisia, who built one of the Ancient wonders of the world, the Great Mausoleum for her beloved dead Husband.
but i will have a cup o' coffee with my morning prescription, thank you.
