Hi
I am Brandon,
Broke my burnginity in '07, Making my second burn in '09....

I jumped on the ePlaya here, to introduce myself..... maybe meet some cool people before the burn.

Also wanted to know how I would go about getting in on a theme camp? I am willing to get involved and contribute what I can.

so on that note..... hit me up!

Hitting people 'up' is not really my style.

Why are you split between Colorado and Oregon?

If you're in Oregon this summer, you should come to SOAK - Oregon's Regional burn. I couldn't find any dates set yet for this year, but I think it's in June or July, and it's a lot of fun!

No wasn't that harsh. Actually one of the best experiences of my life, just wish I met more people.........

I was forced to take a year off for work. :(

But this year I am going no matter what!

and thats why I am on here, so I can meet people to meet up with on the playa and get into mischief.

As for my split Colorado/Oregon......... I lived in Oregon for about 4.5 years and my company sent me to manage a shopping center in CO, They actually want me to stay here for another year. I am agreeing to do so, if they will fund my burn trip. I am pretty sure its a go seeing how I am desperately needed here..... and I am some what difficult to replace.

No matter what though I am going..

Post by Anti-Hero » Thu Jan 22, 2009 12:51 pm

Update!!!!!

I spoke to my boss in Portland today, He told me he needed one more day on the decision... But he said for the most part it is a sure thing! WAHOOO

See I can buy my tickets right now..... but id rather my company get them for me so I do not have to spend what I got in my pocket.

So now to find a camp of sorts..........

They are buying them for me tomorrow!! wahoo...... hey I am fine as long as they do not sell out. Any remainder after the initial $210 I consider a donation. Plus my company is buying me them! ;)

The first year I bought my tickets and my company rented me an RV, gas, bought all my food and a fully stocked bar.. Oh and Paid for the suposed $2000 in Damages to the RV......

Now that I think of it, I must have had 20 bottles of good LQ and I only remember drinking makers... hmmmmm..... I think I was just giving booze away like water..... oh and the owner of my company went and took 2 cases of wine for me to gift to people, and his cd of him singing Sinatra.... holy shit my first and only year thus far was fucking wikked bad ass..... Cant wait for this year

All I know, is I love working for a company that sends me to Burning Man!!!!

I write off a lot of stuff, but haven't figured out the angle to let me write off burning man. What's your company's secret?

Well, I work for the partner company of my uncle's company...... So kinda indirectly for family.

Anyways, the first year my uncle wanted to go, so I was in charge of organizing everything, and I did. And it was fucking awesome.

Couldnt go last year cuz I was sent to Colorado to take over management of a shopping center for 1 year after some previous manager turned meth addict and fucked our company over for $20,000.00. So Yea they sent me to Shitty Pueblo Colorado, to manage and lease out this shopping center, also to over see the daily operations of a little indoor market place, and to run a flea market on the weekends, and then I started a head shop just to keep me busy...... So yea this past year has been hectic and busy.

Sorry this story is lagging....

So my year is coming to a close, I have smoothed things over here for the most part. I am due to move back to the Beautiful city of Portland OR, when I get a phone call; a very lame phone call asking if I would please please please stay there for another year. I thought about it, and my answer was Burning Man.

Well it worked!

Heck my company is sending me and my lady to Vegas and putting us up in Spa suite for Valentines day.
