Gesellschaft as an evolutionary concept?

Post by kk » Mon Jan 19, 2009 6:43 am

The 2009 theme of evolution bored me at first, then I started thinking about the different aspects of evolution. Gesellschaft and social evolution kept coming to mind. A group of like-minded people is brainstorming on how to manifest the concept and ideals of gesellschaft on the playa, in our art and gifting? By teaching about it and raising consciousness? I keep thinking about how the media is the message.

What, if any, are your thoughts on the state of social evolution in our society and culture? How would you communicate this on the playa?

Didn't I just read this in another thread?

LOL

I was trying to politely indicate that this was a cross-post or double-post or whatever they are called; without actually being too snarky about it.

Maybe somebody should tell kk that not only is cross-posting* verboten (see, I can toss around German terms, too), but that taking the initials of Terminal City's most power-hungry despot could be very dangerous. Piano wire dangerous.

Wait, we only have keyboards now. He'll be keyboarded!

*Cross-posting = starting the same thread in two different places on the same board.

At least he isn't using capital Ks......

and just in case ,

Verboten : forbidden: excluded from use or mention; "forbidden fruit"; "in our house dancing and playing cards were out"; "a taboo subject"

off topic, kk and crossposting.

Post by kk » Sat Jan 24, 2009 9:05 am

hello everybody!

sorry for all the cross-posting. I was just really excited, 'cause this is my first year. I'm going big (as the alternative is go home).

As for calling myself KK? Well.. those are my initials... I've been called KK as a nickname for years. I've met others called KK and nothing catastrophic happened...

If anyone wants me to change it, they'll need to come up with something more fitting and fun for me! (which I'm not entirely opposed to.)

Heart hugs!

KK
