And badger did you erquest the same of DVD burner? if not then you are treating people unfairly.

Badger wrote this and then I will post my repsonse to badgers email to me. He is threatenign legal action and if so all the past will be brought up which I don't think any ones wants. Thsi may or may not meet with abdgers request I will leave it up to him to decide. If I actualy appologise for what he said I it could be taken as that was what i meant and it was not .(it was just a thank you message and said that it woudl have been nice if the Admin took such action in the past it coudl halp solve many problems, they have seen me been threatned ina variety of ways but never did anything) See my answer below and we shall see if it meets badgers muster. do remeber that i Dont plan out emial perfectly and wont as i see no need.

This is a formal (and documented) request that you retract the libelous accusation(s) that I attempted to blackmail you which were recently posted to the Burning Man e-Playa on 31 March 2004.

Further, I demand that in your retraction that you make a public apology to both myself and the members of the e-Playa for having publically stated such unfounded accusations.

Note that I have notified members of the Burning Man tech team and plan to meet with them tomorrow based on the nature of this particularly egregious posting on your part. In that meeting I will lay out the options available to me if should you make the decision not to comply with my requests for an apology and retraction.

Further, a request has been made that any and all public and personal e-mail/PM exchanges between us be saved electronically so that a thorough evaluation can be made by counsel should I follow through with my intent of seeking legal recourse based on your actions/accusations. Again, my actions will be dictated based exclusively on your response to my request.

Please know that I am very, VERY serious in this regard and should not in any way be construed as an idle threat on my part. I am fully prepared to follow through with seeking counsel should you decline or dismiss my requests.

This will be the only correspondence you'll receive from me in this matter. Any attempts to engage me regarding this message or my requests will be ignored unless said message contains a copy of the the apology I've requested.

I only hope that I've successfully conveyed just how egregious I find your accusations and, for your sake, that you take my demand for an apology with the same seriousness with which I write this message.

and it coudl have been concieved that way. That is why i said well tried but it didn't quiet make the muster that i wanted to pursue.

I just said it looks liek its been solved and therefore I will not take it as a threat. I have had 2 other people in non public discourse said they think that allanon 3 was also Badger. It wasn't until now that someoen actualy had the nerve to mention it in public.
It was Alalnon 3 said he woudl blackmail me if I did not back down. The only comment that you gave that could be taken as a threat was the one about getting rid of me or something about a dog or soemthign like that. it wasn't a good threat. But allanon 3 said i should die and also attempted to blackmail me. So unless you are allanon 3. (I am still withholding judgment but the admin here can know for sure, I personanly dont care if you are allanon 3 or not. All i care aobut is the truth.)

and Badger I did not say that Allanon 3 was a sock of yours. i was agreeing with what someoen else said. DVD Burner. He is the one that defamned you if you are truly not allanon 3.

I committed no liable but was onyl repsonding to what someoen else said and said thanks. its weird that someoen actualy defended me. I wanted to make sure i said thank you.

What was said in the past by Badger has not been deemned as a threat or blackmail. if badger thought wahat was said on march was sayign that he threatened me or blackmailed me in the past as badger. it is true i did nto feel that it was at the full death threat level.

therefor i do aplogize if badger took it that way. Sorry badger.

Now what allanon 3 said in the past about me is a differnt story. he did say he woudl blackmail me if i didn't back down. what alalnon3 said in the past could easily be taken asd death threats.

the comment about alalnon3 beign a sock of BAdger was not made by me. I was just pbulically repsondign to a public message posted by someone else. if the admin here ever felt that Allanon 3 and badger were the same peopel in the past but did nothign about it that is bad. But we don't need to go there. Admin here publically removed alalnon3's account and that was enough for me as logn as what occured never comes back.

Also both the issues with allanon 3 and you both occured at the same time. I often group those together as they are similair but not similair enough that i have personnaly linked them as the same person in the past. my acomment was about similair issues that occured and no admin is makign sure things liek that dont't occur as they have in the past.

Allanon2, if you took the time to look in all of the threads and subsections, you would see that Technopatra, acting under her admin authority banned Allanon03 yesterday. In other words, HE'S GONE!

Since he's gone and the admin took action to remove the person for making those threats against you, why do you continue to bring it up? What else do they need to do? He's gone, the ID is banned. From an admin perspective they gave him the dealth penalty.

Instead of drudging this stuff up and seeing it slinging around again, why don't we all just take a deep breath of still semi-clean air and concentrate on fighting the Sempra powerplant problem instead? If we channeled half this energy into that fight, it would be a nice wakeup call for Sempra that there's some RESISTANCE out here who thinks their powerplant site placement sucks.

Is this something you'll consider or do you really want to spend your hard earned money on a legal team and fighting lawsuits over petty bulletin board comments? Pick a more worthy battle and spend your money and time on more noble things.

sorry but i agree i wish i didn't haev to post this as it just takes up my time and accomplishes very little. i would have been very happy to private email Badger but he told me that i couldn't the emails had to be public. So that is why i posted all of this stuff.

I just said thanks to the Admin that past issues have gotten solved.

so hopefulyl this is enough if not sue away.

My legal backign will be free (a singer in mychurch said he will me my free legal lawyer if someone ever atempts to do antythign against me)

if i don't hear anyhting mroe i will consider what i said what enough (not fulyl what you wanted I will nto incrimnate myself for soemthign i did not do) but enough that my argument would hold up in court and who ever sued me woudl have to pay the fair market value of my neighbor. (i think its 200-300 a hour)

also at that point we could have BMORG pull the ip records and see what they turn up?
many peiopel woudl get supinned. (sp?)
all my records (that have been saved) will get pulled out.

It looks like Badger got his apology, in public. It's about as good as he could hope for. But I'm not Badger so we'll see if he replies. If he doesn't, well then it's dead. And thankfully so.

Tony, I'm almost sure you have a presence on the 3 Playa and would know that the bulk of this whole exchange happened here. IMHO this is the best place for it to get wrapped up.

In any event, I hope both parties can bury this thing, A3 is gone, apologies have been exchanged... don't we have a powerplant proposal that needs some attention?
