Is this really a decent idea? Do we really need to foster this kind of behavior? Thoughts and feedback...

"No not really, the media only fixates on a very narrow aspect of Burningman....its not as easy to get laid there as you think" Says I.

With a bewildered look and skeptical tone "I saw naked people on TV - and it looked like one guy was smoking weed...I can nail 50 chicks there in a week"

"Well shit, it must be true, a topless chick and a joint on TV make it fact. a hundred says you cant get laid once"

So our coonversation goes like this for a while, I brought the skeptic to BM last year, and at the end of the week.

"Fuck, it is hard to get laid at BM..." says he and pays me the hundred.

So - IMO anything that helps the unlaid get laid is OK by me. What did you have in mind, a website where singles look for hookups like a swingers site? maybe a wanted website? Problem is it will have 300 dudes, and 4 gals on it. so who knows.

how 'bout Speed Burning? All the 'singles' meet up daily on the playa, sit in the little chairs, get someone to kick it all off with a timer (and a bullhorn of course) and everybody gets 2 min to meet/greet each other and then whoever clicks with somebody, take off. You'd have to have different sets of chairs to allow for hetero, homo, bi or "just hang out with me" connections. hey, wait... this sounds like a good idea for a theme camp... hmmmmmmmmmm

It would be too difficult to have 3 sets of chairs for every genre of lifestyle. 15 sets of chairs - 30 minutes at 2 minutes each. Simply have a different Genre every hour. with a schedule.

I like the idea of running off together.

But Having a cool site where you can meet the burners in your area and such. Maybe we just need to throw like regionals with that dating section in each event. I'm in SF area... anyone free?

Im in town after the 5th of february with a mate of mine for a meeting. WOuld love to meet you. We always stay in the Lombard / VanNess area I know kind of touristy, but we dont know anything else, and everything is within walking distance.

There already IS a Burning Man camp, Costco Soulmate Trading. The deal is, you have to bring yourself and an opposite-sex person (they have to get their people from somewhere) and you fill out forms, get photographed, and show back up at a pre-assigned time to meet your "match".
