weather conditions in black rock

Has anyone heard what the weather's been like in Black Rock this year? Are they getting snow in the mountains around?

Cold... little rain. Not sure about the surrounding mountains. I can check with my contacts up there and find out, but unless a significant amount of rain falls late in the winter / through spring, it's gonna be a very flaky, dusty year again.

Winter has been ultra dry here in Reno. Chances are that the Black Rock is having the same problem. If we don't get major water then I imagine the black rock will be more beach like again.
