What does burning man have to offer the bondage enthusiast? Are there stocks, whipping posts, bondage themed groups? Is there some where that I could go and cuff myself and pay someone to hold the keys for eight hours and not let me have them?

I'm going for my first time too but a couple of years (ok maybe 4) ago at the Salt Lake regional burn there was a camp flying a leather pride flag. They had a nice St. Andrews cross. From posts in their Yahoo group I think they brought a Vac-rac to the regional this year. Nice folks from Salt Lake but I don't remember their names. I think they go regularly. Once upon a time there was. The Temple of Atonement was one of the earlier more well established camps that offered props, lessons, discussions, same sex only sessions, etc., etc. Problem was that like most good things a lot of the people showing up were gawkers, stalkers, spectators probably with a few predators thrown in as well. That and there was a lot of intoxicated/altered folks who demanded access.

The short of it is - according to a close friend - that Atonement grew progressively tired of the demands and attitude of entitlement that came from visitors to the camp and basically decided it wasn't worth the headache of having to deal with so many ass-monkeys for a week.

No! that was an physical attack. she was assaulted. If he was assaulted in retribution he would have no legal recourse.

I don't know where the location was and that might be inappropriate, but not worthy of hitting someone. Besides I don't agree with the regulation anyway, its a fucking salt flat and there's alot more stupid acts going on then someone pissing on the playa to take an issue with if you want to play playa cop.

there was a time before 2001 when it wasn't illegal!

That guy was actually using his foot and wishing it was his dick since he wouldn't get a chick of that quality. so he couldn't use his dick, but his could get away using his foot

Temple of Atonement was great and was there last year, but they come back every two years so they'll next be back in 2010.
