New guy from faraway Belgium says "Hi!"

Post by dataman » Mon Jan 12, 2009 5:12 am

Hi! :D

This is the first year I'm contemplating to actually make it to Burning Man.

I'm twenty and like doing stuff and going to exceptional things like Burning Man. :D

Also, I have no idea how to get there.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya.

First, start by removing the check-boxes from the "Disable HTML, BBCode and Smilies".

There must be some sort of regional BM groups in Belgium you could hook up with to help in your planning, they participated in a big way a few years back with a huge art project Uchronia. Actually, it was the largest art project ever built on the playa up to that time.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi dataman!!!

Welcome.

Try starting here to find someone in your area:

Regionals Page for Europe

And definitely hang out here and get to know folks. There’s lots of people who come from Europe every year. They’ll start to appear more and more on the board as the time gets closer.

Cheers!!

does belgium still even exist?

i thought they were annexed by Luxembourg.

But more importantly, would anyone even notice if they were gone besides the Dutch?

I thought, if you turned Luxembourg inside out, it became Lichtenstein.......

Why? Is flying not an option? :P

Maybe you could hire Da Mule to take you there, he works cheap, all you need is Peanut Butter and he's yours. But use your stuff, apparently ours is fucked up beyond imagination right now.

And welcome to eplaya.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

That's what the one-legged chick asked me before I got stuck in this hole.
