Hey,

I used to live in Fairbanks for 8 years. UAF class of '92. I flew up there last November to spend Thanksgiving with old friends. I forgot how much I miss winter and the snow. Where else can you sleep in real late and still watch it get light outside. Or 6 months later, go out for a bike ride at 3am and have to wear sunglasses. I have visited Juneau twice. Once while riding the ferry between Bellingham and Haines and once to lobby the state legislature and Governor Hickel to not cut funding for the University of Alaska system. I live in Humboldt County, CA now. It is the closest I have found to the Alaskan vibe in the Lower 48. Matanuska Thunderfuck? That brings back memories. How about Anchor Point Wheelchair? Or Goldstream Gumby? The real Matanuska TF was grown outside
ALoha Sage!! I lived in Wrangell my 16th year... Talk about culture shock~ growing up in Seattle sent to the WIlds of South Eastern Alaska as a teenager in the early 80's...
I have Family still in Wrangell. Soooooo If you ever find yourself there, stop by the Marine Bar and have a pizza made by my Aunt Sandy.
Some day I gonna have a Bed & Breakfast at Point Baker. And I have smoked REal Matanuska Thunderfuck!! While eating Moose Leg! LOL
