I'm a virgin burner

Post by dubovitch » Wed Feb 04, 2009 1:41 am

hi everyone. I'm Sylvain, i'm a 28 years old, and i'm french. But the most important things about me is that 2009 will be my first time at burning man!!!
I'm expecting this summer a lot!
i hope that i will find a camp cause i'm sure that it's better to integrate the burning man way of life. Unfortunatly, i don't com a lot of days before the beginning of the festival (my plane lands on San Francisco the 28th August) so can't really help a lot for planning a camp, but of course i will be able to help to build it!

Welcome.
You don't have to join a camp.
Just get involved when you get there.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome to Eplaya Sylvain, Last year was my first and I found it to be way more than I could have ever imagined. I went through bad withdrawals after leaving the playa and returning back to the default world. The best thing to do is to read all that you can as you can never be totally prepared for what is coming. Red or blue pills you decide.

Hi Sylvain (or Dubovitch) An advice from me that we have been told from a wise guy from Sparks when we participate in 2004. Be there and watch when you are a virgin, even when you have a ton of ideas in your head how to participate your first burn it will never be as you planned at all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldnt have said it any better myself, even when severely intoxicated :P

Dont worry about trying to pull of or do anything major. You'll be so tripped out when you get to BRC that anything you had planned will soon be forgotten. Just go with the flow, and prepare to make some good friends.

Welcome to eplaya :D
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

It's not up yet, but there is one on the main site.
