Fans and Freaks, the film

Postby gyre » Sun May 25, 2008 7:22 am

Have you seen Fans and Freaks?
Some great video of dragon con.
They showed this at Midsouthcon and then vanished with many people clamoring to see the film.
No one knew where to find them.
Unfortunate after getting the buzz going.
I think they do fail to mention that cons used to be as much orgy as con.

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

Hey Deb ... tell Leora when she is 18, she can camp with us. I might even buy her ticket. But if she misses the first week of college, I ain't responsible!

Saw Hancock yesterday at the movies. It was really good. Will Smith and Charlie Theron were excellent together- they should do some more movies together. Different approach to this Super Hero movie concept.

Depends on teh university and the professors and the courses.

My nephew was 19 this year and he had a great time. Learned all sorts of bondage knots at Bondage Camp. Should be very useful when he goes to Navy bootcamp. See, Burning Man IS educational.

not one of the ones I watch ... besides, I don't watch daytime sci-fi; the digital channels are in the basement and I do other stuff during the day.

Actually, I don't know. The description never caught my interest.

I don't think it can be described, except that the stars are tangible-impaired.
I think the same writer wrote Pushing Daisies.
Different though.
They just released a new film following up on the series.

I loved The Stand, but the book, not the mini-series. And The Shining, again, the book. and Misery .... well, you see.
