Hi asterflower,

As the time gets closer there will be more and more camps posting information on the board. Keep checking back and reading up on things. There are lots of opportunities to join places, but you shouldn’t be afraid of coming alone either. You won’t be without friends for long. In fact, if you start looking for people in your area on the regionals page, you may find folks you vibe with right in your own back yard!!

And, yes… do hang around and tell us about you. There’s lots of advice to be gleaned from this place.

I'm waiting...there is more to come, aye? Like "want some candy"?

asterflower, do you like candy? Just a casual warning..fun ahead.

The first step to finding oneself is enjoying candy.

Or I am sure someone can explain what it is I am trying to say.

There's always being hung up by the heels and beaten with sticks.
Not at my camp, though.

Don't take it the wrong way.
We still let canadians in.

If you enable bbcode and smiles on your profile, everything works.
When you preview, it will show what is working and what isn't.

Asterflower, I used to spend a lot of time in texas.
I need to go back to JSC again.

Your dream is very common. If you think back to the days when you were in elementary school and you had dreams of being in front of the class unprepared for your report. Many people have the dream of being naked in front of the class. There are lots of variations of this dream, and you had one of them.
What is very cool about Burning Man is that you can confront this fear and actually walk into a crowded Center Camp completely naked and spend as much time as you'd like. You may be the only one in the immediate area unclothed and can have conversations with people nearby or just watch some of the entertainment going on.
You will quickly find that this fear you've had was unfounded and being naked in a crowd is no longer a problem. Your nightmares will stop right away and you will get the feeling of the weight of the world being lifted off your shoulders.
I had all this happen to me after having a loin cloth silk screened in Center Camp and was then told that it had to dry for a half hour. I held it in my hand for an hour and walked around the area butt naked. I never thought I could do that and I never had a nightmare again.
