If you want .50 caliber, just buy black powder. It isn't considered a firearm and isn't registered. Why now get a repro .60 caliber Hawkins and really make big holes.
I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.
What about the .416 version?
Or you could own a 50 in Nevada.

Gyre, why did that video cause me to want to go out and drink gallons of Ukrainian Vodka?
Check out gunweks for accurate long range:
see link below for company web site.
and the video: http://www.gunwerks.com/Testimonials/Vi ... ystem.aspx
Are there cheaper systems out there that can achieve the same results for say 1000-2000 bucks? Please don't shoot wolves, people.

Blair Holt Firearm Licensing
& Record of Sale Act
2-16-9
Very Important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House.
This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.
We just learned yesterday about this on the Peter Boyles radio program.
Even gun shop owners didn't know about this because it is flying under the radar.
To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:
·It is registered
·You are fingerprinted
·You supply a current Driver's License
·You supply your Social Security #
·You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
·Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
·There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.
They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. In prison.
If you think this is a joke - go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family - pass this along.
Peter Boyles is on this and having guests. Listen to him on KHOW 630 a.m. In the morning. He suggests the best way to fight this is to tell all your friends about it and "spring into action". Also he suggests we all join a pro-gun group like the Colorado Rifle Association, hunting associations, gun clubs and especially the NRA.
This is just a "termite" approach to complete confiscation of guns and disarming of our society to the point we have no defense - chip away a little here and there until the goal is accomplished before anyone realizes it.
This is one to act on whether you own a gun or not.
If you take my gun, only the criminal will have one to use against me. HR 45 only makes me/us less safe. After working with convicts for 26 years I know this bill, if passed, would make them happy and in less danger from their victims.

I just hope it fails...................I've heard Pelosi, et al, are hesitant because of the backlash from supporting such bills.........
I hope that's true...........

Most of that seems reasonable, although I think that a mental and physical evaluation should be a one-time thing (not whenever they like) and they should not be able to inspect your home unannounced, that is just ridiculous.
I would agree to that if it meant I could have a weapon in my home.
Maybe these seem reasonable to me because here, you can't even transport weapons to where they must be stored (securely, at a firing range) without tonnes of paperwork, let alone have them in your house...
There have been a bunch of gun-related deaths within a few blocks of me over the past couple of years, and those are only the ones that get reported.
I always wonder what I would do if someone came into my home with a gun. Throw forks at them? Hit them with paintballs? It might work if I aim for the eyes...
It is terrifying to have a system where every single weapon is either in the hands of violent criminals or the government. Although I do not see that going the other direction any time soon.
<sigh>
I guess I should be supporting strict gun regulations though, given my residency. (BAD Canadian!)
I could just build myself a flamethrower. It is mighty suspicious but not illegal, at least not that I know of. Better than throwing-forks.

God Bless the families and friends of the slain Oakland police officers. Prayers go to Officer John Hege, hanging onto life. Love and healing to you John.
If any of those officers were my Dad, I would have supported a "guns drawn and ready" policy for routine traffic stops anywhere in Oakland. That may enrage some folks, but remember, those officers didn't have a chance. I hope they track the hell out whomever sold or got those guns to the shooter.
California has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. It's not about more regulation, but in this case at any rate, about up scaling the monitoring of paroled criminals, like Mixon. Attorney General Brown, said "there's hundreds of shooters on the streets of Oakland" ...Well. that's wonderful, ain't it? I was just in that vicinity two weeks ago.

and, a clear illustration of how gun laws don't work, to stop crime........
we do have draconian gun laws............sure, it's illegal for a convicted felon to have gun..........well, that worked.............
and yes, pound the hell out of the person who gave/sold them the guns, if, they knew they were criminals, or, had the opportunity to find out.
As much as people complain about "profiling" certain neighborhoods or areas, it does seem prudent, perhaps in that neighborhood, for the cops to "be prepared", since, it's a dangerous place..............
It's such a fine line, the cops walk............
not being overly intimidating, being "sensitive", non-confrontational......and then........staying alive, knowing that some folks will cap them for a nickle, pretending to be just "joe citizen" to get their guard down.......
What a tough job........

They are good at defending your home against enemys

but not for robbing banks or asking for rides from stangers..or using on a masked man in a commercial establishment, where kids are with their mommies, and this man who appears to be quietly making a withdrawl,in an unconventional standard and took cuts..because pointing a LOADED UNREGISTERED gun THAT works at a man with a non working concealed one in his johnson locker as a costume detail is very bad manners unless for some reason..YOU REALLY LOVE BANKS OR ARE ROBBING THE BANK ROBBER FOR ROBBING THE BANK BEFORE YOU WERE GONNA BUT THE COCKSUCKER JUMPED THE LINE..and it took you all day to write the crayon note in your pocket..well it WAS right there in your pocket..HE made you loose your turn, your note and now your gun too! cuz..using or attempting to use a concealed unregistered loaded firearm in a public place is a crime, punishable by 6 monthes to a year in jail and restitution for punitive dammages plus 3 years probation and a 3000 fine. discharging the firearm except in self defence is 20 years.
And you might make the guy in the mask behind the counter piss himself and clouds his judgement so that he drops his gun and breaks it.
uh...sorry I was just reading the police report again..T.s trial starts two weeks into april..
stay tuned..spare a scheckle..and
SAVE THE WILD GRIFFIN!!
and remember kids...using a gun in the commission of a crime..IS A CRIME.( its a 10 year enhancement ).so just wear a T shirt with a gun on it...
or play it safe and ONLY use guns FOR pistol whipping and killing bad guys IN your HOME who are caught jerkin off in your bed to your anchient old porn you had tucked away in a box he found while ransacking your pad and stealing your felon boyfriends i-pod. Then Beat'em till their eyes cross and they piss blood, save their teeth and donate them to the
Wild Griffin Defence fund..

they have a purpose as a tool for hunting what you need to eat to survive
protecting you from stuff that needs to eat you
or in security of home and family
or killin the shit outta beer cans and varmits..
the attire for such activitys should always be boots, bras, and tutus, regulation ponytails and sunglasses.

if it wasnt for my neighbor
and his amendment in hand..
I beleive I would of lost complete control and actually snapped out on the asshole..collateral damage. I have a limit as to what I can handle..stand..tollerate...
The last thing I need is this happy crap- and the messy court bullshit it comes with.
If I had come home to that with family...we would of left to a safe location- reported it,
But walkin in on that alone..being violated like that..
Dude all funked out in my bed.. while stealin and discovering a box of old porn, gets wood-stops to rub one out in my bed with my toys..and Then I come home..
wtf is fuckin right...
Im going to publish the account in my local town news..
How does that old army chant go..
this is my weapon
this is my gun..(grabs dick)
weapons fer shootin
guns fer fun?
guns are great..but they are always the last resort
like if Trader Joes closed down...

The amendments that support Freedom..
now I gotta get back to work watering the clowns.

A gun-loving lunatic who was afraid President Obama would ban firearms killed three Pittsburgh cops Saturday in a blizzard of bullets, police and witnesses said.
"I am going to die today," the killer, who was not identified, told a friend just before the incident.
The gunman was arrested after a standoff that lasted several hours, officials said.
At least five officers were wounded. It was not immediately clear if that number included the three officers who died. Their names were not released.
Edward Perkovic, 22, the suspect's best friend, said the shooter called him at work as the carnage unfolded.
"Eddie, I am going to die today.... Tell your family I love them and I love you," the killer said, according to Perkovic.
"I heard gunshots and he hung up," Perkovic added. "He sounded like he was in pain, like he got shot."
Perkovic said the gunman feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon."
Another friend, Joe DiMarco, said the suspect was upset about getting laid off from his job at a glass factory earlier this year.
Another longtime friend, Aaron Vire, 23, said his friend had an AK-47 rifle and several powerful handguns, including a .357 Magnum. He also said the gunman once had an Internet talk show.
Tom Moffitt, 51, a city firefighter who rushed to the scene from his home two blocks away said he heard "hundreds, just hundreds of shots. And not just once - several times."
Neighbor Rob Gift, 45, who heard bursts of gunfire as he was letting his dog out, was stunned by the violence.
"It's just a very quiet neighborhood," said Gift, who said many police officers, firefighters and other city workers live in the tidy neighborhood filled with single-family homes.
The shootings happened just two weeks after four cops killed in Oakland, Calif., March 21., the deadliest day for U.S. law enforcement since Sept. 11, 2001.
Seven cops killed in the space of a month. The tension level in the US is mounting drastically. Just this past week in my town, a nut case tried to kill a few cops by driving into them. He later crashed and killed himself.
I'm afraid that what we will see is a militarization of police forces, especially in big cities that experience high levels of violence. There will most likely be a new round of anti-gun legislation as well. As more people lose their jobs, continue seeing bailout monies being paid out in undeserved bonuses to the criminal banks who caused the mess, and no real reform of the system, things will likely get worse.
I feel really bad for the cops and their families. Imagine what it must feel like to be in their places in these times. The bankruptcy of the "temporary stimulus fixes" of the Obama administration will in time reveal themselves for the poverty of vision they really are. The moral bankruptcy of continuing, even escalating, Bush's wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, will continue to stand out in stark contrast to the escalating wars on the streets of our own country.
Obama has bitten off more than he can chew. It's costing us lives in this country.
