You'll find people around here a lot more friendly if you attempt to answer your own questions by reading things already posted here, and the information at www.burningman.com before posting questions that have already been asked and answered.

A thread just down the page from yours essentially asked the same question:
http://eplaya.burningman.org/viewtopic.php?t=3336

And there's a whole are of this board devoted to the topic:
ePlaya Forum Index -> Tips & Tricks -> Food & Drink

worse yet - started by the same poster.

it's a bad sign if you can't even listen to the answers to your own questions.

...not to mention that it tends to annoy the other kids in the sandbox.

Sorry everyone, need to be a bit more patient... clearly you're all great people and I appreciate that. Will be more mindful before I take up any more of your space... sorry again...being a new comer... the last thing I want to do is annoy. "we learn fast"

Our sensitivity stems partly from past over-enthusiastic posters posting new threads saying the same thing over and over. If you read through most of the site (especially the Survival Guide), you can avoid asking questions that have been answered time and time again.

Enjoy exploring, there is plenty here to learn--just keep your bullshit detector in good working order.

Check the sidebars in the various sections, esp. (last year's) Survival Guide, Heloise of the Playa, etc., as well as related websites linked here:
