Greetings All

Post by Stubbs » Thu Mar 05, 2009 3:43 pm

Hey everyone, my name is Chris Stubbs and I'm from Robson, BC, Canada. I generally go by my last name, so Stubbs is fine.
I heard there's something going on out in the desert, so I thought this year I would go and see it for myself.
I'll be strolling down solo from either the Kooteny area or Van City area. This being my first trek to BRC, I would like to make some contacts before I begin the journey so I can be prepared as possible, and maybe meet some new friends to join up with as far as camping goes.
I look forward to any insight I may gain from joining this community.
Peace.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome to the eplaya!

(Wow, guess it's true that earplugs are required for sleeping if you can hear BRC all the way up there is B.C.!) :)

Greetings Stubbs, if by Van city you mean Vancouver, then I suspect it would have a active burner community from what I've read.

Welcome Stubbs. Just a small bit of advice for you, read all that you can then read some more. You have taken the first step and joined Eplaya. Good move and don't forget to bring lots of bacon. It is a good way to make friends.

There's a smoking hot little paramedic gal that was at BM 2007 from Robson and other points North in BC. She's a burner..........

damn - wish I could remember her name.
