It doesn't say if caucasions can wear these. I wonder if you can use them for driving at night?

Does it count if I "use" a Chinese girl at the local day spa for a "massage"

yeah, and, they're two pair for 15 bucks.....fit and seal pretty well, even on my big melon............
real glass lenses, and, side lenses, too.......probably be good for gas welding as well............fold flat.
so nice..........I'll look good in these..........I always look better in the dark, and, it sure gets dark out when you put these on.........

Thanks for the info and link Ygmir. I ordered two pair, just got them. I put 'em on and showed my teenage son, he said 'you look like a freak'. Just the response I was hoping to elicit! Perfect for the playa.

I'm not sure whether they would be dark enough for gas welding, I think I will stick to the standard #5 lens at this point and keep these for the playa. They do fold up really nicely in you pocket.

They had some other useful stuff on their website, I also ordered some new steel toed boots for a good price. They are pretty nice! I also noticed that they had a LP powered on-demand water heater/portable shower for $115 that some folks might be interested in...not me, I don't believe in showering on the playa, washes off the good luck ;)

Hmm, 'heats water instantly with an intense flame', sounds like the potential for an impromptu fire performance if it failed in use! Could be entertaining!

Those are pretty sweet. Anyone who already bought a pair know if they'll fit over glasses. They don't look like it, but thought I would ask.

Thanks if advance.

They fit rather close to my face, I don't think glasses would fit under them unfortunately.

It may also depend on the glasses........

yeah, Sportsmans guide has lots of cool stuff, and, at times, cheap.......

I bet a person could get new pieces of glass, darker if needed, cut, too......
or a film overlay........

And, as you say, people think they're freakish.........a glowing endorsement, IMHO.......

*thanks ygmir*

I've looked at Sportsman's Guide a number of times but hadn't noticed those goggles, so, I went ahead and ordered a pair (well two actually) -- definately look "freakish" (which is a good thing), sure do fold up nicely to fit in a pocket, would be great as a spare pair of sunglasses to carry. They fit fine over my contacts :) but there's no way I'd be able to wear them over glasses. They're NOT dust proof (decent in the wind, but not dust proof -- not totally form fitting nor is the hinge sealed). The lens is a little dark to wear at night I'd think -- but overall cool and functional. :)

I saw a documentary about David Brower a couple of days ago, and I swear he was wearing goggles just like these in some very old 16mm footage.

I wish folks would stop making the Chinese rich. If only we would buy things made in the USA maybe the economy would get a teeny bit better.

I'll explain.

Buy American=American gets to work
Buy Chinese=Chinese get to work

No Americans Working=Depression and collapse of economy

It really is that simple.
