Please do not think I am offended, takes a lot more than that. What i was getting at is the fact that as a parent - I can raise my children to be whatever I want them to be. If I want them to hate a race or despise plumbers I can do that. That is all I was getting at - that hate is not innate. IMO it is nurtured and not natured.

So having a little girl be a fundamentalist at age 6 or 8 certainly makes it easier for her to be a fundamentalist at 35.

As far as occams goes - I whole heartedly believe that of the trillions of stars and hundreds of billions of planets circling them that there must be life out there wondering why his damn computer keeps locking up. Or an ape like creature swinging in the trees, or a hominoid type of species that is thousands of years more advanced than us.

As far as a god or gods pulling the purse strings with an all divine plan? who knows. Life after death? nice thought who knows as well - I like to believe energy doesnt die.
