The seasoned non-veteran

Post by HeironymousJosch » Wed Mar 25, 2009 6:42 pm

So, I sat out the last 2 years while my girlfriend (now ex) went to Burning Man. It was her thing and secretly I wasn't sure if it would be a good thing for us to do together. I made other excuses, usually career related that kept me at home while she headed out to the black rock desert. I got to know her large group of friends, that all happen to be Burners. I helped build costumes, attended some fantastic decompressions, heard story after story and saw picture after picture. I even built my ex a wicked 1920's bicycle last year. Well, she's gone and in January I was laid off and started my own firm so I have no excuses! I plan to volunteer time while I'm there by signing up at center camp but I'm also interested in volunteering my labor for setup. Anyone know who I should contact?

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I volunteer you to do all of the setup work I would normally do while I watch you do it from the comfort of my air conditioned RV.

No seriously....I am serious.

It's about time you showed up, after all of these excuses it's the least you can do for me.

Oneeyeddick,

It really is the least I could do, isn't it? I'm okay with the proposal so long as there's an arranged BJ and or frothy beer awaiting me in said air conditioned RV.

Greetings ones who's moniker if too long and un-pronounceable

Welcome, and it's about time you got YOUR ass home. Scope out the theme camps, you may find one that suits your fancy and they will certainly be in need of peeps to help with set-up and take-down.

Last year there was some guy in the What Where When Guide that was solicitating exactly what OED was suggesting, something about cooking him dinner while he drank beer, and tear-down his camp, while he, oddly, drank beer. OED, that wasn't you was it?
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

I'm trying to wrap my head (or lips) around a "tantric bj." Sounds...slow. But you know, a deal's a deal.

Sail Man,

Yeah, it's a bit cumbersome isn't it? It's a play on the name Heironymus Bosch, a 15th & 16th century artist from the Netherlands known for his grotesque religious paintings. Weird shit, to say the least. As am I and my name happens to be Josh, so it kinda worked out nicely.

Thanks for the warm welcome and for the great tip on pitching in with a theme camp. My only reservation is that I've simply never been. I imagine the level of insanity/chaos ranges between theme camps and kind of had it in my mind to set up a small, comfortable & functional camp to serve as a home base for my friend and me. That way we can roam freely without too much worry about upkeep while still having a refuge if need be.

I just don't know what to expect! Furthermore, I'm trying not to make expectations! I'll peruse the WWW's and see if anything tickles my fancy. Thanks again for the welcome!

Josch

p.s.
I know we're not there yet but can't I get a good cyber spanking or be forced to do imaginary playa angels? I'm in good practice, we just got a big snow storm in Colorado and I made plenty o' snow angels.

Tantric BJ definition :

Hold it.... hold it a little longer...almost there....keep on holding it.....it's coming soon....hold it a little longer....you're almost there.........now pull pack a little.....now hold it again......a little longer........not too fast.......hold it.......hold on a second....there we go.... that is nice.....now hold it.......just a liitle longer....keep on holding it........hold on...........*take a drink of water*.......now hold it again.........keep on holding it.......whoa, that was close.........back to holding it again......just....a ....little....more.....holding it..........

Okay, my biggest concern was lubrication. It's really not your typical application for traditional lube. I wasn't sure if a water break was permissible. Sounds like the sort of job for a painful 4-hour erection, better pick up some Levitra.

Guess we'll have to work it out in a hyperbaric chamber OED.
