so excited..... first burning man...
hello!
I want to start by introducing myself.... i have recently had one of the largest life changes... and i have decided that to continue on this journey, burning man was a must.
this will be my first time, i am looking for help, but most of all friendship and connections with others... and new understandings.
over the past year i have connected with new people up and down the east coast... and i am constantly in search of more adventure...

If you're looking for more adventure, you've come to the right place. It's nice to see another east coast person here.LittleDeer wrote: over the past year i have connected with new people up and down the east coast... and i am constantly in search of more adventure...
Brace yourself for the adventure of your life.
WELCOME!

I don't know. I've had some pretty large life changes, and while it isn't a competition, I may well have you beat.

Hey! Welcome!
I love talking to virgins who are set on going, because it reminds me that I am just as excited for this year's Burn as I was for my first. Does this ever change?
Make sure to read the Survival Guide and ask everyone for tips on what to bring! There are certain items that are not on the list which can make your Burn a lot easier, and there are some serious veterans on here that could prevent the first-year "OH FUCK THIS IS REALLY HOT AND WE DON'T HAVE CAMP FURNITURE AND THIS FOOD SUCKS" syndrome.
My tip: don't bring canned Andersen's Split Pea Soup. The stuff looks and tastes like the result of a baby with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

But I love split pea soup! Especially when it has big ole chunks of ham in itPavementBlues wrote:My tip: don't bring canned Andersen's Split Pea Soup. The stuff looks and tastes like the result of a baby with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
