Singer, Hippie, Virgin Burner Looking for a Home
Hi all! Well, after doing some inital research...I would really like to join a theme camp. I am looking for something creative (ha...that narrows it down) and possibly musically and/or spiritually and/or environmentally inclined. I live in the LA area, but would be happy to work with burners anywhere in the world. I am organized, a hard worked, and a very positive, free-spirited person. I already have my ticket...YAY! And I am more than willing to bring whatever I need to bring...for myself or the group. Thanks all!
Finally moving to SF...can't WAIT!

Singing!
Indeed it does. I am an opera singer, choral singer, a cappella singer, jazz singer, and really...whatever other kind of singer I need to be. I have a degree in voice from The Cole Conservatory at CSULB.

Well, you seem cool, and if you're at all into Drum N Bass that would be even cooler, but umm... Your profile says you are into "vegan eating" and we don't really condone cannibalism at The BUSH... Besides, I have some friends that are vegans and I don't think they want to be eaten... Other then that I think you'd fit in with us!

gregorian chant, and plainsong, can be accompanied by a 'drone' at the 5th and the 'do'...this does create (very simplistic) harmony.
Many voices on the same musical 'line' is unison...easy to hear, although we cannot always discern the number of voices involved. Later chant (after 1450) is polyphonic - multiple voices singing different lines/texts, contrapuntal and independant musical lines that occasionally create harmony. Chordal harmony, in a sacred ( and folk) setting, became the norm in the late 1500's.
But... Singing in harmony is GOOD, no matter the context!
