New to Burning Man
New to Burning Man
I want to go to burning man this year. I've never gona before, I'm 18 and I would be going just right before I start college at Santa Cruz. I live in southern california in the desert.
I'd like to particiapate, probably in a theme camp, I don't plan to build any extravagant art. But when looking at the list of theme camps from last year, its so large and so many different kinds of people I don't even kno where to start!!
Would it be better if I stayed in a theme camp or no?
How can I find the kinda place that fits me?

It's easier to find the places that don't fit. Like Barbie Death Village. We have a rule that you must be 21 or older to stay in our camp. The reason is that we have an open wine bar and several years ago had Pershing County's finest sort of pay us a visit. Not that we did, at least consciously, anything wrong but rather serving wine to minors is absolutely frowned upon by the authorities, as well it should be. So keep in that sort of thing in the back of your mind while doing your research. But since you're 18 you CAN visit the back of my RV...

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
