Virgin from the Bean
Virgin from the Bean
Well just north of Boston really. My name's Kris but everyone calls me Spanks, and this is gonna be my first year goin to BM. I go to a bunch of festivals every year around here and up into Maine and Canada but think it's deff time for BM. I've read just about everything I can on the site but any other advice or info would deff help. I'm tryin to find a ride out there so I can bring more gear, but will just hitchhike if I can't find one. I still need to figure out where I'll be camping/leaving my stuff when I get there too.
Thanks for everything ahead of time and I can't wait to see you all!

Welcome Spanks! If you're planning on taking the land route to burning man I suggest that you find a group of locals in your area that you can join up with for the trip. Hitchhiking across the US might get you there, but with no idea of when... it might be iffy. You can always fly to Reno, NV and your chances of getting a ride from there would be better.

Welcome spanks. We're practically neighbors! Just keep in mind that the drive is 5 days if you push things. With gas, food and time off, you may be better off flying both ways and just getting there in 6 hours.
If I can offer you some guidance, feel free to PM me, but the Boston Burner group is also a great place ot start.
It's nice to have someone around who understands when I say "I parked my art car over there"!

Hey there, you should start your own intro thread. (Not an order, just a suggestion.) Then we can give you a personal welcome to eplaya!Serca wrote:Oh! I'm from the Fitchburg/Leominster area just 1hr outside Boston.
