(((hugs))) for Tapestry in Tulsa.

He lost his Mom this week. She was 91, fell down & broke her hip at home... her home health aid was only steps away. After she got to the hospital, they realized she also had suffered a head trauma.

Hard losing your mom. At any age.

RIP former Clinton Administration First Cat "Socks", 20, from complications of throat cancer. He was a good cat, and a pretty cat. Goodbye.

Here's a link to an article on Tom Kennedy. He was one of the warmest, nicest people that I have ever known. He was creative, kind, generous and was always scheming some sort of mischief. He was a friend and he will be sorely missed. Had I not known Tom, there would have been a gap in my life!

My grandfather passed away this week.

He lived a full life and was always full of life and adventure.

He loved to travel, and spent more of the year away traveling than he spent at home.

We hiked across the entire Sierra Nevada mountain range together over a 13,000 ft glacier pass when he was 70 years old, and followed up our trip by stopping off for some rollercosters at Six Flags.

He had a wonderful since of humor, loved to tell jokes, and was always playing jokes on my grandmother for the 60+ years they were married.

Goodbye grandpa, your four children and eight grandchildren will miss you dearly. May you find peace in your next great adventure.

Maybe my grandmother will finally follow through with what she's been saying for the past few years by coming with me to burning man this year.

It sounds like your grandfather got the wish that we all wish to our friends; a long, happy, full, and content life. My condolences to you and your family. I hope you and your grandmother get to leave a note at the Temple of Rememberance this year for your grandfather. Also, please stress to grandma that there is absolutely NO nudity for her at BM this year!

WHAT !!!

YOU GOTTA BE JOKING !!!

HE WAS supposed to show up here at my house yesterday before heading out there.

I am not gonna believe it until I confirm it with some hard data.

It is not in his character to do such a thing, but putting on a farce of his own suicide is definately in his character.

I am checking it out right now, calling some peeps in Gerlach to see.......

I was thinking she would enjoy the temple. But she also enjoys being nude around her house and in her pool. Not sure how the environment factors of the playa would impact that for her though. :)
