Barbie has hit a nail on the head. I lost my dad May 5th 1986 and my mom May 5th 1996 and I wish I would have told them how much they mean to me. My dad was a wiz at working on cars and general home repairs and many times I could use his advise. This might sound crude but I have been more emotional on the loss of Owl, our number 5 cat then I was when I lost my parents. It has been almost four months since Owl died of cancer and I still shed tears thinking about her.

Gerald H. Graunstadt
4-22-44 to 11-14-57
I thought about my deceased "G-Man" Gerry Graunstadt this past Wednesday, Earth Day, which was also his birthday. I kept it inside all day to myself. I still fucking miss that awesome man. Loved him more than any man ever because he was just so damn good and kind to me. He would have been 65 this year. He was called G-Man for a damn good reason. :P Miss you. Love you. Feel you in my heart all the time.

edited because i am holding baby RJ anf typing at same time. ps: he says goo-goo.

I was born in Los Angeles, Hollywood being a part of it, and I have always liked it when things can be expressed through song.

for 40 years since I first heard this, I have believed that, for me, one child will be born to carry on.

The above version is great, brought me to tears.

here's the lyrics:

I'm not scared of dying,
And I don't really care.
If it's peace you find in dying,
Well then let the time be near.
If it's peace you find in dying,
And if dying time is here,
Just bundle up my coffin
'Cause it's cold way down there.
I hear that its cold way down their.
Yeah, crazy cold way down their.

[Chorus:]
And when I die, and when I'm gone,
There'll be one child born
In this world to carry on,
to carry on.

Now troubles are many, they're as deep as a well.
I can swear there ain't no heaven but I pray there ain't no hell.
Swear there ain't no heaven and I pray there ain't no hell,
But I'll never know by living, only my dying will tell.
Yes only my dying will tell.
Yeah, only my dying will tell.

[Chorus]

Give me my freedom for as long as I be.
All I ask of living is to have no chains on me.
All I ask of living is to have no chains on me,
And all I ask of dying is to go naturally.
Oh I want to go naturally.

Here I go,
Hey Hey!
Here comes the devil,
Right Behind.
Look out children,
Here he comes!
Here he comes! Hey...

Don't want to go by the devil.
Don't want to go by demon.
Don't want to go by Satan,
Don't want to die uneasy.
Just let me go naturally.

and when I die,
When I'm dead, dead and gone,
There'll be one child born in our world to carry on,
To carry on.
I'm a topless shirtcocking yahoo hippie

Just been home now for a few days and thought I'd post this memorial I made from Caleb's pictures and mine over the last few months. The memorials in Ocean Beach, Reno, Frog Pond and Seattle were a good tribute to Caleb's spirit. Thanks to all who attended.

Thank you! I'm still torn up about it... I guess I'm a glutton for punishment..I keep getting pet rats. It's a shame, that thanks to humans, they don't live that long. Thinking about breeding wharf rats..

I've been more emotional over the loss of Owl, our #5 cat, then I was when I lost my parents. :( And each time I just glance at the urn we had her ashes put in I start gettin choked up. She lost her fight with thymoma back in January. I guess the love and affection an animal has toward its human owner is unconditional.

The rumors are that he was getting with auto-erotic asphyxiation, but give me a break. He was a movie star in the world's sex capital. Plus he was in his seventies. Something doesn't add up. :?

And the sad fact of the matter is that even if/when this is disproved, it will always linger in people's minds, much like it has in the Michael Hutchence case.

I lost my father in January to lung cancer. Before he passed away I informed him of my wishes to spread his ashes in three different locations after his passing. These three locations symbolize the holy trinity; The father, son and holly ghost.
Three weeks before BM I will drive his car to the grand canyon and spread one third of his ashes there. He and I were suppose to take a road trip to see the Grand Canyon after he got sick, but unfortunately he never recovered well enough to take the trip. Spreading his ashes there will symbolize "The Father". After that trip I will drive to Mt Whitney, the highest peak in North America, and hike 6000 feet to the top and spread another third there, this place will symbolize "The Holly Ghost". The last half of the trip will be to Burning Man where on Sunday night the last remain bit of his ashes will be placed in the temple to symbolize "The Son".
He was well aware of my intentions and supported me on my journey to heal my soul of losing him. There will be a wonderful party that night after the burn at our camp. Please come find us at Spontaneous Planning Camp before or after to bask in the brilliance of my fathers life!
RIP... Ronald Brust

John passed yesterday at his home in Puna Hawaii.
If you were part of drive by shooters you know John, also he was perhaps the oldest liveing black rock ranger.
He will be greatly missed.
