SWINE FLU, AVIAN FLU , FEMA CAMPS FULLY LOADED: NEW WORLD ORDER | Photo 03
April 24, 2009 at 09:01 pm
This simply could be the making of the "Pandemic Cocktail" needed for the FEMA Camps to reach full capcity across the Continental United States. A perfect concauction of a pandemic that needs total isolation in concentration camps away from society. Engineered in a lab and transported across North America in transport trucks shipped to key points of interest for contamination and wide spread infection. This would be the ultimate weopan in mass imprisionment without cause, justification or reason. Especially effective if the Swine flu strain further mutates beyond control making the panic and fear of SARS seem like a common cold in comparison.

Yg, you are a fucking GENIUS, friend. I think you're on to something with this music aspect.
The Swine Flu will get us all if we don't heed the hidden messsages in songs from John Lennon,
Pink Floyd and many many others. I think the music will SAVE US, kind of like a vaccination.
BURNER FRIENDS: LISTEN TO EVERY BAND YOU CAN THAT SINGS SONGS ABOUT PIGS IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!!!!!

Casualties in Mexico now over 80 dead. Confirmed cases in Kansas now.
Note:
This flu kills by causing a exaggerated immune response. People with the healthiest immune systems are at greatest risk. That is why it kills mostly people aged 25 to 45.
If you have had regular flu vaccinations in the past you will likely have at least partial immunity to this strain. That is one reason why the virus isn't killing as many in the US.
If you are very healthy but never take flu vaccinations and have never contracted an H1N1 strain naturally, be very careful. Should you get sick, seek medical help if you experience difficulty breathing or symptoms of pneumonia. The immune reaction causes the lungs to fill with fluid and that is what kills with this strain.

maybe a pneumonia vaccine too would be helpful? Not so much to prevent catching the flu, but pneumonia is one of the things that kills people after they have the regular flu.

200 cases reported already in NYC
I'm not going to crowded places! buying a surgical mask tomorrow!
Maybe head into the adirondacks for a month or head to Montana since I have a show opening in July.
But I got a 90 year old mom so I wouldn't want to leave her for too long.
Wash those hands and use antibacterial hand lotions.

I've always thought surgical masks do no good to stop you aspirating a virus.Apollonaris Zeus wrote:200 cases reported already in NYC

I'm wondering what the incubation period is? If its longer then a week, we could already be in a world pandemic!
On masks and viruses:
my guess is that a virus would be adhered to a vapor droplet and not just free floating.
Just don't lick the inside of the mask!

Human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection have been identified in the United States. Human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection also have been identified internationally. The current U.S. case count is provided below.
U.S. Human Cases of Swine Flu Infection State # of laboratory
confirmed cases
California 7 cases
Kansas 2 cases
New York City 8 cases
Ohio 1 case
Texas 2 cases
TOTAL COUNT 20 cases
International Human Cases of Swine Flu Infection
See: World Health Organization
As of April 26, 2009 9:00 AM ET
Investigations are ongoing to determine the source of the infection and whether additional people have been infected with swine influenza viruses.
CDC is working very closely with officials in states where human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) have been identified, as well as with health officials in Mexico, Canada and the World Health Organization. This includes deploying staff domestically and internationally to provide guidance and technical support. CDC has activated its Emergency Operations Center to coordinate this investigation.
Laboratory testing has found the swine influenza A (H1N1) virus susceptible to the prescription antiviral drugs oseltamivir and zanamivir and has issued interim guidance for the use of these drugs to treat and prevent infection with swine influenza viruses. CDC also has prepared interim guidance on how to care for people who are sick and interim guidance on the use of face masks in a community setting where spread of this swine flu virus has been detected. This is a rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide new information as it becomes available.
There are everyday actions people can take to stay healthy.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people.
If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

Summary Guidance
CDC has provided the following interim guidance for this investigation.
Residents of California and Texas
Clinicians
State Public Health Laboratories
Public Health/Animal Health
Residents of States with Swine Influenza Cases
CDC has identified human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) virus infection in people in the U.S. CDC is working with local and state health agencies to investigate these cases. We have determined that this virus is contagious and is spreading from human to human. However, at this time, we have not determined how easily the virus spreads between people. As with any infectious disease, we are recommending precautionary measures for people residing in these areas.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.
There is no vaccine available at this time, so it is important for people living in these areas to take steps to prevent spreading the virus to others. If people are ill, they should attempt to stay at home and limit contact with others. Healthy residents living in these areas should take everyday preventive actions.
People who live in these areas who develop an illness with fever and respiratory symptoms, such as cough and runny nose, and possibly other symptoms, such as body aches, nausea, or vomiting or diarrhea, should contact their health care provider. Their health care provider will determine whether influenza testing is needed.
Clinicians
Clinicians should consider the possibility of swine influenza virus infections in patients presenting with febrile respiratory illness who
Live in an area where human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) has been identified or
Have traveled to an area where human cases of swine influenza A (H1N1) has been identified or
Have been in contact with ill persons from these areas in the 7 days prior to their illness onset.
If swine flu is suspected, clinicians should obtain a respiratory swab for swine influenza testing and place it in a refrigerator (not a freezer). Once collected, the clinician should contact their state or local health department to facilitate transport and timely diagnosis at a state public health laboratory.

yeah, I'd bet the virus can be on water droplets, but, those masks are not really "air tight", and, I'd bet the airflow through could dislodge them anyway......of course, somethings better than nothing.............

Because it isn't the virus itself that kills with this strain of H1N1. It is the body's reaction to detecting the presence of the virus. Basically it creates what amounts to an extreme allergic reaction in the lungs. The body sees the virus and releases masses of cytokines which in turn cause more cytokines to be released. For some reason not exactly understood, the cytokine release goes "open loop", becomes unregulated, the lungs fill with fluid as the body reacts to them, and you drown. This may happen before the virus itself has had a chance to develop much past the initial stage of infections. It is your body's recognition of the presence of the virus and its reaction to that, not the virus itself that causes death in this case.seems the news report I saw said it was a fast incubation, like 1 to 3 days.
This is exactly how the 1918 H1N1 virus killed, too.
