Hello. I'm an older single newbie living in Fargo, ND. I just joined eplaya.

Greetings to all burners, especially those in the upper Great Plains states.

Hey there. Welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Older, single and newbie are all great, but what the hell are you doing living in Fargo, ND? That makes no sense!

Welcome from CA. Thanks for the segregated hello. FYI, the porta potties for Midwesterners are in Utah or Wyoming, or whatever.

Well, I guess that wasn't a proper welcome. I see Fargo on the news all the time and the blistering cold temperatures in the winter and wonder why people would live there. I'm in the northeast and we get minus zero temps in the winter and 100 plus in the summer, so the comment was not warrented!
WELCOME to the fray and looking forward to seeing you on the hot, dusty playa! :D

No problem, Sham. I hear that stuff about Fargo all the time. Actually Fargo is one of the best medium sized cities in the US for quality of life and cost of living. That's why I've lived here for ten years and liked it. Yeah the winters are a bitch, but the city is built to handle it. Our wonderful Minnesota Lakes country is across the Red River and right down the road a few miles.

By the way, I grew up in north Buffalo, NY, and I lived most of my life on the East Coast in NYC, Boston and Maine. Four years in California, too.

Cheers!

- Rob
