I like fishsticks. I love fishsticks, but they have to be premium high grade delicious fresh fishsticks. I don't make those phony Mrs. Pauls fishsticks, and I'm not too impressed with the Gorton's fisherman fishsticks ~ even if he does have a handsome beard and wears a provocative yellow rain trench coat.

I prefer to have real meat fishy fishsticks, perferably cod or haliBUTT, spiced up, soaked in buttermilk overnight, breaded in egg and cornmeal and a lot of hot sauce in the mix. I bake mine. No frying for me. I want healthy fishdicksticks. Then I like to make up my own tartar sauce out of organic herb butter. Real butter. The more butter the better. Sometimes I use a bit of catsup, but it has to be organic catsup from the co-op.

Fish sticks are good.
They make good sandwiches.
I like mine crispy and moist.

Nope. I prefer tuna fish sandwiches: A tablespoon of mayo mixed in drained waterpacked fish, whitebread, with a bread-n-butter pickle or relish or onion slice. I usually pair the sandwich with a bowl of tomato soup with seven shakes of black pepper. Mumm, mumm, Good!

I had some fish and chips in England - near to York, actually - that was crazy good. The fish was fresh, as in swimming in the morning, never frozen.

It's difficult to go back to regular fisk dicks after that, no matter how much tartar sauce is slathered.
