It took me 4 days to consume a 3 1/2 pound roast.
I had bought a 4 quart Presto pressure cooker for 5 bucks on the 8th at a SPCA thrift store in Davis, when I went to the WEF. The top seal and pop-in vent were intact, and I had a Presto vent cap from my Aunt Clarrise's household goods.
My foodstamp/ EBT card was reloaded on the 10th and I bought the roast, potatos, carrots, celery, bell peppers, and onion. I had previously tested the cooker by just building up a head of steam.
I cooked the roast beef a half-hour under steam, then turned off the gas and let it cool naturally. After venting and pressure equalization the lid was difficult to remove, so I just let the pan and lid temps equalize until I could open them. I suppose the metal mass of the bottom pan kept it expanded and tight on the smaller mass lid.
I just shared the last bit of roast with my dog. It was very good. I seem to find more pleasure in simple things these days.

I never heard him play.
It's all bizarre.
We had the police commit mass murder here and no one was prosecuted.
He claims self defense.
