alright im just gonna clear this up.im barely 20 so i guess im kind of dumb right? the reason i posted this is because we have two weeks to leave.We are getting evicted because my roomate got robbed and the landlord wants everyone out.I panicked because we literally have been here for a week.so im just trying everything i can.I have moved 4 times in less than year and im sick of moving lol.I apologize for wording everything wrong.i shouldve said i was looking for a room.we can pay 400+...also i went on here because i was hoping to find some people with common interests such as burning man...oh well ill find a place soon hopefully.thank you to those who were nice to me :)

This sounds like a very, ahem, unusual situation. Are you renting there by the week or something? If you're renting by the month, you've prepaid that rent for 30 days . . . but it doesn't sound like it. Where I live, the landlord has to file a dispossessory and it takes longer than 2 weeks to go through the process -- the sheriff comes with a crew and removes your shit and sets it out by the street. (You may not want to go that route, but you could pick it up from the curb and put it in a truck and go on to your new place).

Moving 4 times in one year isn't a great rental "resume." Are you sure you are ready to be on your own? I mean that.

True. Being young comes with growing`pains, but hey! we all get past that... Just because you're "barely 20" doesn't mean you're dumb. Not getting what you want served to you on a silver platter doesn't mean that people don't like you nor does it mean that they are picking on you. (Although this came pretty close and was hella funny)

It sounds like you're doing a lot better than I was doing a few years ago when I was 20. You have identified whatever issues you want to deal with, and you are now proactively (as best as you can) going abouts trying to deal with and solve your problem.

I'm not defending anyone here. Hell, I barely even met them. But from what I can tell, they're only trying to help.

(also, reading up on what's legal/illegal might be a good idea. Know your rights!!! That way you can spot it when landlords/(other people who might want to cause you trouble within the law) are doing something... like kicking you out illegally? or abusing whatever power that they have.... etc.)
