What Does This Mean?

Post by EvilDustBooger » Fri May 15, 2009 11:25 am

I thought I would start an advice column for those of us who experience a nagging unexplained phenomenon or notice a peculiar pattern of behaviour in ourselves or others in our daily lives that we can`t help but wonder about.

Personally, lately I`ve found myself trying to unlock the door to my business with my home key; and trying to open my door at home with my business key.
They look nothing alike.
They are dissimilar in size, colour, feel, weight...but lately, I still catch myself absent mindedly trying to jam the wrong key into the lock.
I`ve got lots of keys; and locks that they go to,
but these are the only 2 keys that seem to get confused in my grasp.
I can`t help but think this means something.

Feel free to comment or add your own observations.

Yo flatlander! How youse doin? I'm tickled pink to know you and ibdave have known each other sooo long, but the statement I made was in relation to dave's statement that the DustBooger has "been away from the playa to long" (which we all have been) and was directed to the DustBooger. Maybe I should have quoted the DustBooger soes it would have been clearer.

Forgive flatlander He's from the Seattle area and if that's not enough he just got pinked slipped and if that's not enough he hasn't been on the Playa in a few years and if that's not enough we both lived in Walla Walla Wa. during the late 70's.

The bigger question here is, or so it seems, or maybe it just seems to me, it could seem to mean to me and maybe seem to you, but who's to say, since I don't really know you, but I would like to know you, unless you already know me, then that could lend itself to Unjon Harleys post, being me who is the forgetful one, but not you, with that being said, does anyone here consider themselves to be a "true hippie', because I am sure someone like me or you or you wants to know, ya know ?

Yep, I used to sell Groenig records.

Besides that......being laid off is not actually a bad thing for me....the company laid off 161 people of a company of less than 500.......the people that are still there just found out who they report to when they signed their electronic time sheet.....the lay off s happened over 2 weeks ago......I'm lucky to be out.[/quote]

Once again Mozy, your pragmatic awarness is...stunning. Lynard Skynard wrote that song about YOU. I am convinced.

Actually, I can`t switch the locks. My "business" door is an old, beautiful "one of a kind" with a stainless steel frame and unique lock.
I have had keys special made, but to "switch" keys or locks with the house would be close to mission impossible.
I did have a house-key made last week that is black with yellow and orange "flames" on it (quite striking) , but I`ve already tried to unlock the biz with it a couple times... What does it all mean?

...and Susan is such a slut, I can`t believe you let her hold the money.
ibdave wrote: You Have Been Away From The PLAYA To LONG.....
Amen to that. We`ve set up a camp several times; but there has always been water close by. Everything was very lush. It`s been discouraging. I do so miss the green complexions and parchment tongue. Maybe next year.

That would be SIR FUCKING DUST BOOGER!!! to you.

And, please. How would I get to the playa without keys? What do you think I`m some kind of fucking hippy hitch hiker?

Funny how this works. Those little rug rats will turn 40 as well; if they are wise enough to quit drinking diet soda,... and then you won`t seem so ancient to them anymore.

Here is someone who has long since past 40, and is still living in denial.
I recommend vigorous exercise and tongue twisters; so you can be understood articulately as you yell at the orderlies.

Still burning at 72. unjonharley, I don`t care what the hell you are here after.
You have my deepest respect and admiration. You, sir, are a champion.
I look forward to meeting you some day.

That "passing" the devil sounds a little scary though. Be careful with that shit.

I understand that switching to decaffeinated can really help with this.

Life, my friend, is a crap salad.
And at present, I am having the salad bar.

I see we are at the same Bar.
It's time for us to move on to the Steak House.

I feel it's coming and soon you will too.

I think it means gremlins-- or that you are over 40. Being over 40 myself, and having found myself trying to put the apartment key in my car, trying to use my car key on the company truck, and attempting to use any of the (seemingly) hundred or so keys at work in the wrong doors, I prefer the gremlins answer myself. Maybe an exorcism is in order (although, being an agnostic, I am not certain who I would go to for one-- the mail carrier? :? )
