Hi Sisterzer0, do I remember you from a long long long time ago??
anyway, I don't think anyone here has ever rented one of those RV's that are set up in place on the playa. Although I do think someone posted something about that recently, not sure how to help you find it, just keep looking, what you want is available. Good luck and see ya at BRC.

they do this at BOnNAROO
http://www.bonnaroo.com/bonnaroo-rv-ons ... -info.aspx lameBONNAROO ON-SITE RV TRAILERS
For the first time Bonnaroo is offering patrons the chance to rent a limited number of pre-parked RV trailers at the festival. These RV trailers will be parked in RV parking areas in close proximity to Centeroo, in both the VIP and General camping areas, and you will be able to drive directly up to them in your vehicle and park. There is only one parking space allotted to each unit, so any additional vehicles in your party will need to park either outside of the festival, or in the general or VIP campgrounds potentially away from the RV trailer location.
IMPORTANT - YOU MUST PURCHASE VIP TICKETS TO CAMP IN THE VIP CAMPING AREA WITH A PRE-PARKED RV RENTAL TRAILER.

Wow... My brother just fwd'd me a link from El Monte RV (won't link to it from here, you can find them on the web if you're so inclined) but it was an "everything plus the kitchen sink" type of package.
The RV was stocked and delivered to the camp of your choosing -- complete with mid-week service calls -- and then at the end of the week you just hand the keys over and that's it.
I know there's been operators in the past who've run camps where there's a fixed fee that includes transpo, ticket, tent and three squares a day, but I've never seen anything like this.
Ostensibly, you could fly into BRC, take possession of your stocked RV, party it up, then fly away without so much as a trip to the truck wash (and vacuum) in Reno.
Problem is, even if I wanted to take advantage of a package like this (they omit putting a price on the web site) I can't imagine a more sterile experience. A man needs certain things in the desert that El Monte RV can't provide -- a life-sized, fully functioning Family Feud board, for instance...

Irony. You're soaking in it.

Yep. The Friends of Blackrock Rendevous started Friday, Memorial Day Weekend. They started setting up at the Cassidy mine Wednesday and Thursday. The Green Tent is on the Playa and the camps are on the slope leading up to the mine.
