Bikes Bikes Bikes Transport!!!!! Give me feedback please!!!!
Hello Fellow Burners.
Just taking a survey to see if any of you might use a service to have your bikes shipped down to the burn and brought back.
We would have a drop off point in SE, drive them to the playa, give you the location of our camp for you to come pick them up.
Then, bring them back from the playa and you can come get them from our house in SE.
Basically we are trying to off set our gas cost and make it a little easier for everyone to get down there.
Tell us what you would pay for this service? And any questions or comments!!!!
Thank you so very much!

Actually, this service would work great for me. My minivan is going to be full of four people and a ton of gear. I looked into getting a bike rack for the bikes, but as I don't have a trailer hitch, the installation of that plus the rack would be around $500. NOT in the budget this year. Unfortunately, I read "SE" as southeast and assumed you meant somewhere in the southeast, like Florida. I'm coming from Canada, so not much help for me there, but I wouldn't be surprised if others find themselves in a similar jam. Thanks for putting the offer out there.

that's why you're on top of the food chain.........mdmf007 wrote:SE - is the SouthEast side of every town apparently.
getting close to commerce, anyways - I doubt you will find many that are looking to transport bikes alone. If people have room for the rest of their gear they will probably have room for their bikes as well.
just me thinking

When I read SE I was thinking
Milpitas, Fremont, San Jose, Newark, etc.
Your right though - Georgia, Florida, Carolina's, etc fit just as well.
