I wear an old pair of New Balance running shoes. The youtube video gave me some ideas for several things this year.

I was looking for footwears equivalent of the camelbak but I'll probably just wear sandals again, I dont remember having any foot problems

You want shoes with waterbags in them. Can't help ya there, sport.

I wear New Balance Trail Running shoes. I'll probably put on some sort of medieval moccasin to go with my costume. Maybe there will be combat boots involved. I may even go barefoot a little. But I am not you, as I hope you have noticed.

I spotted the picture on another forum and did a search for Russian Paw Shoes. That brought me to a site that had the pictures I posted. Never did search any further other than eBay and Amazon. No luck there.

No TuTu. I'd look like a flamingo with my bird legs. I have two monk habits ready plus Marga will be making me a couple dishdasha. Fall back is cargo type hiking shorts. Just need to figure out the lighting. Oh yeah - this is a shoe thread. Light weight hiking boots are first choice at the moment. Again - no tutu

From what I can tell, everything that he makes is a one off, and he apparently sells them on ebay. Maybe there's not a huge market for claw shoes in the Ukraine.

this will be my 5th year and i have had not one issue wearing "fake" teva sandals every year during the day. I buy usually a cheapo pair at target or kmart. I don't even wear socks with them. I do wear socks and boots at night and lotion my feet at night and wear socks to bed. But during the day all my feet get is vinegar and lotion. I am pretty active during the day as well and my feet have never hurt one time from these type shoes. Also my feet are never rough or gross after bm either. This could be just good genetics and/or good foot care during bm but that is my story. Can't wait to be home....
