Post by yovy » Thu Jun 11, 2009 11:00 am

My name is Yovy.
This is going to be my first year at BM. I am soooo exited!!!!
I can wait to put on my costume (or take it off ;)) I hope to meet some of you guys, not only here on this forum, but out there in the desert as well.
I was also wondering, how big is BRC? As big as San Francisco?Half of San Fransisco...Any body knows?

It's the third biggest city in Nevada.

And it's just grown by one. :)

Doug, come on, you're just encourageing him (or her I guess). Have you ever seen Mayberry on the old Andy Griffith Show? You know, with Opie? It's like that, only dustier and the women aren't as hot as Aunt Bea.

No mass communication.
No mass transit.

Not San Francisco.
Think refugee camp.

Wow, well, I came across this one map. It is so packed, I bet it's hard to find your way around the city with it, and all that is erected in one week, or is half of it already set up before the actual official week begins (you know, with the volunteers an all)?

...Drew Carey, haven't heard about that show on a long time, I wanted my mom to be like Mimi for a while...

Setup is fun, but it mostly looks black and white when the gates open.
Most things are set up in the first couple of days.

And then it all goes technicolor.
