Hi all! From the first second I was introduced to Burning Man my soul knew I needed to be there. The love and excitement that fills my heart is so immense. I want to have the best experience and dont plan on holding anything back. I dont know if anyone my friends will be able to make the trek out there with me, but going alone still feels right. I know the community out there will be filled with love and I will have no problem finding people.
But I still would like a companion or so to share experience with, so If anyone is in CO or the surrounding areas let me know!!! I plan on driving my car, but am also up for options.
I still have to do so much research, but are there any places where people describe their time there? I want to make sure I do this right, alone or not, I will be at Burning Man!

Hey Travis:
You just missed Colorado's Regional Burning Man event, the annual Apogaea. It was great. Tons of new folks, great art, great camps!
Signing up on the Colorado Burning Man Yahoo list is the best way to connect with other Colorado Burners.
Like this forum, and probably all other internet forums, sometimes people on our list bitch at each other. Know this: the ones who bitch are very much in the minority and either do not live in Colorado or are now inactive.
Its a great community and there are tons of events happening in Denver, Boulder, C-Springs and a few in Grand Junction. Welcome! Here's the link http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Colorado-BM

Hi Trav,
My brother and I are attending the big BM first time this year, so we wouldn't be much help as far as information but if you want to convoy or share a ride or something (I'm not sure how much room there will be as this is my first time). But if you are interested PM me and we can swap contact info. I'm in Westminster by the way, you?
