Kinda ironic that the Worlds leader is motor scooters is made in MINDEN, NEVADA and that part of the family that owns that scooter company is a Burner.

I think its a friggin joke that people are complaining about the noise. Its the middle of the day and theres the sounds of the city all around you, slamming stereo systems, people chattering, bullhorns, etc... And at night time its for damn sure no worse than generators that run all night long, or the distant sounds of 55,000 people partying in the distance. Those goped scooters zip by in like 5 seconds. People walking up the road by our camp at night time talk louder than the noise coming off a goped, and it takes a lot longer for them to get out of your range of hearing too. People make such a big deal over the stupidest fuckin shit. And all in all, this is Burning Man. Not the quietest place to be...

Now as for the speed limit issue, I completely understand that. Anybody and everybody should be respecting the other people on the road at all times. And should keep their speed at 5 or even less really. If you wanna go fuck around and haul ass, there is PLENTY of room in the open playa... But people should respect the roads and speed limits within the city. But hey if some douche bag doesnt kick up playa dust in your face while hauling ass up 3:00 & D, then the wind is sure to stuff enough dust in every crevasse of your body and all your possessions that in the end it wont matter anyways...
