I'm not sure if an organization like eHarmony has a catagory for burners, but you could try! What some people do, it meet regular, normal civilian types and bring them to the playa, thus, making them a burner. The secret is a solid layer of playa dust as well as a free spirit attitude.pooba wrote:Is there a place to find other single burners in your area? <3
Another great place for meeting burners is in northern Nevada at the end of August. The place is crawling with 'em! If you bring beer and bacon, that is sometimes used as bait to lure burners in.
If those idea do not appeal to you, you can join the Orange County burner group and meet people there.

Playa, not such a good place to go with a recent ex...
Thank you, this will be my second year at the burn and I am looking forward to being single and to mingle. Last year I had my ex with me, we had been planning BM for months and decided to still go even though we just broke up and it was horrible, he was stalking me! I had alot of issues with the people who came with me but I still managed a life changing experience and am now a burner for life. Now I have just got out of a relationship with someone who had no interest in the burn and I am realizing the type of person who enjoys that lifestyle will have alot more in common with me then someone who doesn't. Can't wait... counting the day!

One of the best things about BM is the ability to dissapear. When I have had enough of my mates I simply walk off. 500 feet is all it takes to be in another world. Take a breather, take a break - get a drink at an undiscovered bar and chill, recollect and go back refreshed or not at all.
As far as dating burners or finding burners to date I would imagine the monthly socials held by many groups would be a great way.
Me? I simply chat it up with people that seem interesting. Met a few Eplayans that I clicked with, others that If I never met again would be too soon.
good luck, and good hunting.
